Bouncer

The Point Casino & Hotel is looking to hire a Bouncer (Substance Monitor & Control Officer) to join the Food and Beverage Team!

The Bouncer will monitor all guests and employees watching for signs of intoxication and/or disruptive behavior. The Bouncer will utilize conflict resolution & administer de-escalation and defusing skills whenever possible in an effort to avoid altercations while keeping the peace. They will then communicate to security officers the need to escort any disruptive and/or visibly intoxicated guests from food & beverage venues and/or The Point Casino and Hotel premises.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintains constant vigilance to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and/or company property.
2. Promotes positive public relations.
3. Verify guest ID's, ensuring all guests are of legal drinking age.
4. Watching for signs of intoxication, aggression, and/or disruptive behavior.
5. Communicate all temporary alcohol consumption privilege revocations and potential problems that might arise from said revocations, with bar staff, security officers, shift managers and any other staff affected by the privilege revocation.
6. Ability to maintain professional, fair, and mature judgement in all work-related matters.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Class 13 Mixologist Permit or ability to obtain one.
• Washington State issued Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Valid Washington State ID or Driver's License.
