As a Distribution Superintendent at Centerline Energy Construction, you'll be at the helm, safeguarding the well-being of our crews and the success of our projects. Your duties will encompass providing hands-on supervision and technical guidance to up to 5 crews engaged in distribution pipeline operations, adhering to company and client standards for the installation of natural gas pipelines. This includes overseeing maintenance, reconstruction, and new construction tasks. Additionally, you'll take charge of all safety aspects of our divisional projects, ensuring streamlined progress within budgetary constraints, while also managing resources and spearheading the development and implementation of construction/training programs.

Your responsibilities as part of our team at Centerline:

• Workforce & Resource Management

• Direct supervision & technical guidance of distribution pipeline crews

• Accept supervisory accountability for the health and safety of all crews, developing comprehensive hazard analysis of work with crews and conducting safety meetings

• Creating, and ensuring positive company culture on jobs sites

• Assist with planning, directing and budget activities concerned with the construction of pipeline installation projects

• Ability to read and interpret site plans, construction drawings, and scopes of work

• Ability to follow detailed construction schedules and produce two-week revenue forecasts

• Prepare and conduct pre and post construction job briefs

• Provide training to all personnel on safety, fusion skills and equipment operating, as well as, mentorship to Foremen, encouraging growth, safety performance and efficiency

The qualifications you will bring to Centerline:

As a Centerline team member, you will demonstrate our Core Values of Safety X 3, We/Me, and Fortitude. In addition, you will bring the following qualifications:

• Prior experience as a General Foreman or Superintendent required

• Experience with excavating equipment including trenchers, excavators, backhoes, skidsteers, etc.

• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction of Distribution Natural Gas Pipelines

• Advanced knowledge of safety processes in the Oil and Gas industry, and a high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing productivity

• Possession of a valid driver's license; Class A CDL preferred.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

• Must be willing to travel and work away from home as needed

The work environment in your role at Centerline:

• The work environment involves both office desk work and visits to active outdoor construction areas

• Work sites are outside year-round and exposure to natural elements such as heat, cold, wind, and sun is to be expected

• Work situations include working on / near live utility lines such as natural gas, water, and electric lines

• Work may be required on and near heavy excavation equipment, vehicles, and trailers

• Required to use appropriate personal protective equipment, as conditions, tasks, and requirements warrant

The physical requirements of your role:

• The essential functions of this position consist of spending long periods of time either at a desk or in the physical activities of standing, walking, climbing, lifting, carrying, twisting, kneeling, stooping, bending, and crouching as required. This position also involves handling equipment ranging in weight from 1-100 lbs

• Work may be performed in adverse environmental conditions such as confined spaces, high and low temperature environments, adverse weather conditions, etc.
