• Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in completing tasks that ensure the community meets safety, appearance and operational standards established by the company. Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding quickly and courteously to resident service requests, diagnosing maintenance issues and taking action to repair issue in timely manner in accordance to company standard. Maintenance Technician should be detailed oriented, team player and be able to follow direction.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• HVAC certified
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Use of personal vehicle to drive onsite is required
• Must meet all Working Conditions.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on call as needed and snow removal during winter season

Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. There will be a frequent need to work in awkward and confining positions.

Physical Demands

Constant need to be standing on feet, bending/stoop/squat/kneel, climb stairs, push or pull, reach above shoulder level, climb ladders, grasp/grip and finger dexterity to handle tools and equipment. The employee must be physically fit to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
