Plumbing Lead Technician (5 Years Experienced Required) WEEKLY PAY

Labor Finders in Greensboro is currently looking to hire an experienced LEAD PLUMBER to work for an area company that has an urgent need.

• Position: Lead Plumber

• Pay: $23.00/Hour
• Start Time Daily: 7am
• Start Date: ASAP - Immediately
• Location: Greensboro, NC

The individual in this role will be responsible for using blueprints to install, inspect and troubleshoot assigned skilled trade work. Underground, and above work experience in commercial and residential applications. Must be able to perform the duties with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Adheres to the company safety procedures; Leads and ensures the crew is following through with all required safety procedures to keep the work environment safe. Understands & completes the required Pre-Task Planning (PTP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) documents.
• Assists with forecasting and planning manpower. Identifies subcontractor coordination and ensures its scheduled in advance. Cultivates & maintains productive relationships.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications to determine layout of the work. Understands scope of work, RFIs, Field orders and Change Order process.
• Leads project crew & ensures that project is proceeding according to the construction plans & schedule. Openly communicates with Foreman regarding operational issues. Ability to detect & resolve potential trade issues, including but not limited to architectural, civil, structural, fire safety, and MEP. Assists with adhering to project budget & meeting project deadlines.
• Provides necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time as instructed by management. Effectively delegates tasks by providing clear direction and explaining complex information. Participates with any necessary training or re-training of crew members.
• Assists with ensuring proper receiving & inventory of material.
• Responsible for ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurately, neatly, timely and thoroughly submitted.
• Ability to deliver consistent and excellent customer service which ensures a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
• Perform any other duty that may be directed by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age to apply.
• Pre-assignment background screen.
• 5 years previous experience in the Plumbing field. Formal documented training/certifications in a trade program are preferred.
• Ability to apply skilled trade knowledge to assigned work.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
• Strong verbal communication & organizational skills
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Self-motivated individual with strong ability to lead, follow instructions and work alone, as well as work effectively within a team
• Must hold valid state driver's license (out of state valid DL is acceptable)
• Must be punctual and adhere to daily schedules with multiple appointments and in different job locations
• Must have own hand tools
