SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a skilled Occupational Health Nurse!
Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse
Job Location: Plymouth, MN, U.S.A. 55442
Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)
Pay: Starts at $39.00 an hour
Shift Structure: ONSITE, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
* Plymouth (Monday, Tuesday, Friday), Minnesota
* Minnetonka (Wednesday, Thursday), Minnesota
The role of the Occupational Health Nurse: You will play a vital role in providing in-person case management and injury assessment services to the employees.
- Conducting face-to-face, one-on-one case management
- Performing in-person injury assessments
- Managing contact nursing and injury assessment cases
- Providing first aid response and workers' compensation support
- Coordinating accommodations and medical surveillance
- Participating in our AED program and emergency response coordination
- Utilizing MS Office tools for record management and data analysis
- Collaborating with team members to ensure comprehensive care
About the Occupational Health Nurse:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- RN license from Minnesota
- 1 year of occupational health experience (school nursing experience considered with 2 years)
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power BI, Outlook)
- Experience in injury management and medical surveillance
- Flexibility to work between multiple locations
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Orthopedic experience is a plus
- School nurse experience is highly valued
