Responsibilities

  • Reviewing incoming Marketing Requests from UWM business teams including but not limited to Sales/Sales Training, IT, Secondary/Capital Markets, Risk, Underwriting and Lending Support; and managing related projects as needed
  • Project managing to ensure deadlines are met, timelines are kept on track, proper approvals are secured from executive leadership and legal/compliance, and assets are delivered based on requirements
  • Drafting Marketing campaign/project briefs that clearly outline objectives/desired outcomes, target audience, key messaging and relevant context; and working with Digital/Channel Marketing owners to identify tactics and assets accordingly
  • Coordinating with the Creative team (copywriters/editors, graphic designers, video producer/editors) to create promotional and related assets
  • Supporting the Sales/Marketing Liaison as needed on launches and other marketing initiatives; and working in close collaboration with Content Management Specialists and Digital/Channel Marketing Owners to ensure strategies and tactics are always aligned
  • Reviewing client/external-facing material (broker/LO clients & prospective clients, real estate agents, borrowers, etc.) to ensure UWM’s brand, products, tools and technology are accurately represented; and messaging is clearly delivered
  • Facilitating cross-functional team communication to keep stakeholders informed based on our latest product/tool launches, market updates and other relevant changes, and how those might impact specific audiences, both internally and externally

Qualifications

Must Have Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field and/or 1-2 years of marketing or communications experience
  • 2+ years of mortgage industry or related experience, specifically with an understanding of UWM’s business, the loan process, loan products, our broker/LO clients and market knowledge
  • Project management experience
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with understanding of marketing channels
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability with attention to detail, a solution-focused mentality and the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes in direction
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams across the company to gather information, summarize, and communicate concisely and effectively under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-evolving environment – and the drive to proactively communicate changes with internal stakeholders, across levels of seniority and cross-functional teams to build consensus and alignment
