Job Description
Salary: $60-$65,000 per year DOE Salaried Exempt


Position Summary:

As an Event Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and successful operation of the event center. This role involves managing all aspects of event planning, execution, and coordination to ensure exceptional experiences for clients and guests. You will manage budgets, collaborate with clients, and maintain high standards of customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
    • Plan and organize events, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to fulfill event requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations for events.

 

  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the event center, including staffing, facility maintenance, and cleanliness.
    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Manage event timelines and schedules to ensure seamless execution.
    • Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and revenue generation for events.

 

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
    • Address client needs and requests promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling event services to clients.

 

  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Develop marketing strategies to promote the event center and attract new clients.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, advertisements, and campaigns.
    • Utilize social media, websites, and other channels to increase visibility and engagement.
    • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote the event center.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent job experience.
  • Proven experience in event management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event management.
