CPLC Corazón is a client-centered, multicultural center with bilingual staff offering a variety of treatment modalities. We have provided Substance Abuse treatment through our CARF Accredited Level II Residential Treatment Center since 1983. The 30- to 60-day structured treatment program incorporates best practices targeted to the clients enrolled.
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides general mental health and substance abuse treatment and recovery support in a residential setting. Responsible for coordinating and providing direct support services for all the clients and their families in the substance abuse treatment program at Corazon, in partnership with clinical guidance from the Clinical Lead or Program Director. Become the first contact point for all entities involved in the client’s care. Facilitator of client’s informed consent, treatment planning and goals, and discharge planning.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Effective January 3, 2022, all CPLC Employees and all Service Providers, are required to be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19. Newly hired employees, who are not Fully Vaccinated at the time of hire, are expected to begin a vaccination series immediately upon hire. CPLC recognizes medical and religious exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement in accordance with applicable law and upon approval by CPLC. However, any person approved for an exemption, without exception, is subject to masking, and other requirements established by CPLC from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other related fields. Licensed by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, or ability to become licensed within 6 months of hire.
- Experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting; residential treatment experience is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate experience with providing assessment, diagnosing, and counseling.
- Knowledge and understanding of general mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and serious mental illness.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under the automobile insurance policy.
- Able to work a flexible schedule as needed per program requirements, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must complete the agency’s orientation and demonstrate competence regarding skills and knowledge per R9-20-204.
- Must be responsible and reliable
- Must be capable of dealing with crises.
- Must professionally conduct themselves.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a drug test upon hire and adhere to the CPLC chemical use policy.
- Must have or obtain within 30 days of hire: CPR/First Aid Certification, CPI certification, AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card, and current TB test.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Possess an Arizona Driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and ability to be covered under CPLC’s policy.
