Process Engineer (Plastics)

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a plastics manufacturing client in the Denver Metro area who is looking to add a Process Engineer to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with plastic blow mold equipment, managing continuous improvement, and largely deal with the Maintenance Program.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting research/trials to develop and implement new and improved processes for manufacturing
• Establishing safety procedures and general work instructions for individuals working within the manufacturing environment
• Designing and planning equipment layout - Assisting with Capital Expenditure Projects
• Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production
• Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes
• Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Estimating production costs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Experience with Plastics Manufacturing (Blow Mold Equipment Preferred)
• Strong Background in Maintenance
• Can work with and on a small team
• Project Management Experience (2+ years)
