Production Team Members – Extrusion

Position – Production Team Member

Job Location – Cadott

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Long-Term, Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) –

• 2nd Shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm, Mon-Fri)

• 3rd Shift (11:00pm to 7:00am, Sun-Thurs)

Starting Pay – $19 to $20 per hour

Benefits – Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonuses

Required Education – High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience – Manufacturing experience preferred. Plastic extrusion experience helpful but not required.


Best candidates will have a mechanical aptitude and familiarity and involvement in interacting with a production process.


We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our extrusion production team. Employees typically begin in packaging and quality functions while learning production processes and equipment operation. Individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn may advance into machine setup, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and extrusion operations. This is a clean, team-oriented environment with long-term growth opportunities.


Responsibilities

Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met

Monitor extrusion lines and maintain raw material supply

Read prints, dimensions, tolerances, and packaging specifications

Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and hand tools

Shut down, tear down, clean, and prepare equipment for the next production run

Organize and sort materials for reclaim processes

Complete production and quality documentation accurately

Work with team members to meet daily production goals


Qualifications

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required

Plastic extrusion experience preferred, but not required

Strong attendance and dependable work history

Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred

Able to read a tape measure and follow written instructions

Ability to stand for full shift duration

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally

Able to work effectively in a team environment

SEEK was founded in 1971 by Carol Ann Schneider, CPC, SPHR, a Grafton, Wisconsin resident. The name SEEK was derived from a combination of initials in Carol’s family. It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997.
