Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Planner/Scheduler/Finishing Technician. The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production operations, setting production schedules, ensuring efficient production planning, inventory control, and process control and will help set priorities. They will also be responsible for materials management and production management to optimize productivity and quality. Collaborate between sales, production, and shipping to ensure product is shipped exceeding customer requirements. Ensure quality of final product is at Mobile Pro Standards by validating all testing is complete and reported, all parts are in place and trailer is prepped and ready for shipment. Will ensure MP Status is updated and accurate notes are in place and will validate testing results. Ensure final photos are taken of the unit, including pictures of packaging and/or loaded trailers.

The individual filling this role is expected to roll up their sleeves and get involved, it is a combination hands-on and desk job.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in production planning, inventory control, and process control
• Expertise in materials management and production management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in the electronics, assembly and trailer production preferred.
• Professional communication skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Strong technical acumen

Daily Duties


1. Take sales order once entered and review BOMs for accuracy.

2. Review Customer Supplied Equipment (CSE) and plan delivery based on lead-times.

3. Lead the build meeting.

4. Schedule Customer Build

a. Focus on product that can be built to completion.

a. Set plan for long delays in product availability.

5. Publish expected due dates by updating delivery dates in MP Status

6. Coordinate all check sheets are accurate and being utilized.

a. Focus on critical tasks, checking groups of items.
b. Goal = electronic reporting that can be added to MP Status

7. Communicate exceptions when encountered.

a. Work with engineering/R&D for alternates when necessary.

b. Main conduit for communication with sales team

8. Drive to planned due date and schedule.

a. Assist in finding help if behind schedule.

9. Ensure MPStatus (internal tracking software) is updated as tasks are completed and/or ensure notes are accurate.

10. Ensure install is on track.

11. Oversee initial operation of all components, whether bench testing or shop testing or outside testing

12. Oversee final finishing is completed, photos uploaded, and final checks are completed.

13. Work with shipping on planned ship date -

a. Provide freight estimate data to sales team.

b. Coordinate load team.

c. Ensure photos of load are uploaded.

Ensure MPStatus is updated with accurate ship date, BOL #.
