Job Summary:

As a Cardiac PCU Registered Nurse, you play a critical role in providing specialized care to patients with cardiac conditions. Working closely with the patient, their family, and a collaborative healthcare team, you'll be instrumental in evaluating, planning, and executing effective treatment plans, with an ultimate aim to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and manage patients with critical illnesses, including vent management.
• Promptly respond to Code Blue situations in the facility, initiating necessary protocols and ensuring cardiac monitoring.
• Streamline patient flow: from screening, exam preparation, and general nursing care to organizing tests and admissions.
• Educate patients and their families about medications and treatment protocols.
• Diligently maintain and review patient records, ensuring tests and examination results are posted accurately.
• Administer medications strictly adhering to physician orders.
• Ensure patient rooms are well-stocked with essential supplies.
• Address and direct incoming calls, providing phone triage as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing institution (Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher).
• Valid RN License for the state of practice or an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Current certification: AHA or American Red Cross BLS Health Care Provider.
• AHA or American Red Cross ACLS Health Care Provider is an advantage but mandatory within 6 months of joining.
• Previous experience in acute care nursing is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary:
• Min: $30.62/hr
• Mid: $38.28/hr
• Max: $45.94/hr
• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
• Relocation Assistance: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
