Food Service

Linvilla Orchards' food service team is looking for passionate candidates to work at our swim clubs over the summer. We are hiring for our grill at the pool; ideal team members have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people. The summer pool grill staff member will work 12pm - 8pm daily.

General Duties:

• MUST BE OVER 18.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handwashing, glove usage, and cleanliness protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized cooking area, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and regularly bend, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Participate in regular cleaning routines and deep cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to food preparation, safety, and employee conduct.
• Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor; provide excellent customer service.
• Take food and drink orders from customers and fill orders as needed.
• Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Comply with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Must be comfortable interacting with the public.
• Must work at a steady pace with a sense of urgency.

Qualifications:

• MUST BE OVER 18 years of age.
• Must be available during the summer of 2024.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Remain organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions, and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner.

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience as a cook in a fast-paced food service environment, such as a snack bar, café, or fast-food establishment, is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
