Paralegal

Experience Level: Mid-level (3+ years)

Job Summary: The Paralegal will support our legal team in first-party insurance litigation, aiding in case management and client relations under the direction of experienced attorneys. This position is integral to our commitment to providing outstanding legal representation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full caseloads alongside attorneys, preparing assessments of insurance claims.
• Maintain frequent client contact and manage communications.
• Handle calendaring and scheduling for legal processes.
• Organize, review, and maintain case materials and legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests, responses, and other essential documents.
• Assist in preparing for depositions, trials, and other court proceedings.
• Utilize knowledge of state and federal court systems effectively.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous litigation experience; first-party property insurance litigation preferred but not required.
• Self-sufficient, motivated, and able to multitask effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and maintain professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Stable work history with verifiable references.

Education & Training:

• Required: High School Diploma.
• Preferred: Associate degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies.
