DAY TO DAY AS AN AUTO REPAIR SERVICE ADVISOR

As an Auto Repair Service Advisor, you are a bridge between our customers and our automotive team. Always friendly and outgoing, you answer phone calls from customers, respond to emails, and schedule appointments for repair and maintenance services. You ask clients about their vehicle issues and then use this information to generate estimates for the work. If a customer is hesitant to schedule a service, you use your excellent sales skills to encourage them to make the appointment.

When booking services, you communicate with our mechanics to make sure they have the time and parts needed to get the job done. As our technicians work, you keep our customers updated on their car's progress and let them know when their vehicle is ready to pick up. You take pride in playing this essential role and helping bring more business to our shop!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN AUTO REPAIR SERVICE ADVISOR

• Automotive knowledge and ability to explain diagnostics, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to customers
• Working knowledge of computers and ability to learn automotive software such as ALLDATA or Identifix
• Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record
