Commercial/Residential Journeyman Electrician

Nexeo HR is looking for a Journeyman Electrician. You play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes. This is a front-facing role that requires customer service skills in the field.

Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot residential and commercial wiring.

•Install new circuits and replace service and sub-panels.

•Run conduit and low-voltage wiring.

•Maintain van cleanliness and personal appearance.

•Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.

•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.

•Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

•Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, for defects or hazards.

•Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.

•Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.

•Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code (NEC).

Qualifications

•4-6+ years of experience in residential and commercial electrical systems.

•Strong troubleshooting skills.

•Hand tools, cordless drill, and reciprocating saw.

•Clark County Journeyman's card is preferred.

•Reliable, honest, and excellent communication skills.

Pay

$28.00 - $35.00 Per Hour

Schedule

7:00am – 4:00pm | Monday – Friday
