Journeyman Carpenter – Traveling Position | $40/HR + $150 Per Diem

Location: Oklahoma City, OK – Travel Required
Pay: $40.00/hour
Per Diem: $150/day worked
Mileage: $0.76/mile for qualifying travel from job site to job site

We are hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for a traveling commercial construction opportunity based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.


IMPORTANT: This is a TRAVEL position. All applicants must apply with the full understanding and acknowledgment that travel is required as part of the job.


We are looking for skilled carpenters who can hit the ground running and have strong experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation, and taping/finishing in a commercial construction environment.


What We're Looking For

  • Journeyman-level carpenter experience
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial construction experience
  • Strong experience with metal stud framing
  • Experienced with drywall installation
  • Experience with taping, mudding, and finishing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required by the project
  • Must understand and accept that this is a traveling position


Compensation

  • $40.00/hour
  • $150 per diem for each day worked
  • $0.76/mile mileage reimbursement for qualifying travel from job site to job site
  • Mileage reimbursement does not apply to daily commuting throughout the duration of the assignment
