Carpenter

Dallas, TX

Join a skilled trades team supporting the Dallas VA Medical Center. We're hiring experienced carpenters to help maintain, renovate, and improve one of the nation's largest federal healthcare facilities.

Job Summary

The Carpenter will perform commercial construction, renovation, and maintenance work including framing, drywall, finish carpentry, flooring, cabinetry, and other structural improvements throughout the facility.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and repair walls, ceilings, doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, and trim.
  • Install drywall, acoustical ceilings, paneling, and finish materials.
  • Safely operate carpentry tools while maintaining OSHA standards.

Qualifications

  • OSHA Certification required.
  • Commercial carpentry experience required.
  • Government, institutional, or healthcare experience preferred.
