IT Leader

The IT Leader will be the face and owner of everything IT at the company to include management of HPC resources, building & leading the IT focused team, and continued development & support of the company IT capabilities. This role will be responsible for team formation & leadership, IT systems, digital security, documentation & security, and userbase support.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for leading the structuring, recruiting, and performance management of the IT team

* Allocate resources efficiently ensuring the bets use of the team's strengths & capabilities

* Develop & manage the HPC infrastructure in support of the AI development and optical design teams

* Identify future capability needs of the IT systems

* Drive IT projects to completion collaborating with MSP, external vendors, and internal stakeholders

* Troubleshoot issues with systems and ensure availability and performance

* Administer Microsoft Azure AD/Entra/0365 environment

* Initiate, improve, and manage security measures to protect the organizations digital presence

* Manage security audits, vulnerability assessments, and develop mitigation strategies

* Provide and facilitate IT systems training for end users and team members

* Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures

* Responsible for the standardization of stocking IT hardware

* Be the company's foremost advocate of digital best practices

Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

* Five plus years of supporting or managing an enterprise IT environment

* Past demonstration of project management skills

* Working knowledge of general end user IT hardware

* General knowledge of HPC, networking, VOIP, data storage, virtualization, and business applications

* Experience with cloud platforms and deployment architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)

* Experienced and proficient in scripting language
