Document Retention Clerk for Law Office

Alderlaw is looking for a Document Retention Clerk to join our firm in Valley Village. The Document Retention Clerk's duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Sorting and distributing daily mail to attorney and team
- Sorting and filing all documents in physical file in chronological order
- Saving all documents into electronic case management program
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with requests for creating binders
- Respond to requests from attorney and paralegals for document retrieval
- Close out and box up settled matters
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
The ideal candidate will have preferably 2 years experience in law office setting and must possess key competencies in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Adobe. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly and effectively to changing priorities and tasks. Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shit and time. Must have a strong sense of urgency to respond to requests timely. Must be proficient, or able to become proficient within a reasonable time in ProLaw Software.
