We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and vehicles.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with expertise in heavy equipment maintenance, welding, fabrication, and semi-truck/trailer servicing. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of heavy machinery, as well as conducting welding and fabrication work as needed. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, forklifts, front loaders, compactors, balers, and conveyor systems.
· Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair or fabricate parts for machinery and infrastructure.
· Service and maintain semi-trucks and trailers, including hydraulic systems, brakes, and electrical components.
· Diagnose mechanical issues and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
· Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner.
· Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, welding, and fabrication, preferably ( but not required ) in an industrial or recycling facility.
· Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
· Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
· Experience with semi-truck and trailer maintenance, including hydraulic systems and air brakes.
· Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
· Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
