Bookkeeper Controller (Construction)

***EXPERIENCE IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY IS REQUIRED***

Our company is currently seeking ​a Bookkeeper Controller to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

• Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.

• Reconciling sales taxes, payroll taxes and bank accounts at the end of each month.

• Monitoring financial transactions and reports.

• Processing accounts receivable and payable.

• Processing checks.

• Understanding ledgers.

• Working with an accountant when necessary.

• Handling bi-weekly payroll using accounting software.

Bookkeeper Requirements:

• Experience in the construction industry is required

• Knowledge of construction pay apps required (AIA, Procore, etc)

• Associate's degree in accounting or business administration. Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles.

• Knowledge of bookkeeping software (QuickBooks Online)

• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a Construction-services environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.

• Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks

• Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement
