Job Description

Boarhog, LLC is hiring a Portfolio Sr. Systems Engineer who will support the System of Systems Lead Engineer and Lead Capability Integrator (LCI) in monitoring and managing multiple design activities as they integrate to deliver a system of systems capability. The Portfolio Sr. Systems Engineer will coordinate the activities of multiple projects and multiple design activities to execute combined integration and end-to-end testing and product delivery. The Portfolio Sr. Systems Engineer will coordinate engineering design activities across the projects and design activities and ensure appropriate stakeholder participation.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Develop system of systems project schedules

· Provide input to the joint Integration Master Schedule

· Provide guidance to multiple teams across the portfolio

· Work across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared portfolio goals

· Coordinate engineering design reviews

· Maintain situational awareness across all assigned projects and design activities

· Identify and develop Risks/Issues/Opportunities during project execution

· Ensure the LCI is aware of the status of all projects and design activities

Skills:

Proficient in:

· DoD System Development Life Cycle

· Engineering Change Management

· Scope Management

· Able to develop and present artifacts to leadership

· Able to read and understand technical documentation and drawings

· Project Management fundamentals

· Microsoft products including Windows, Office, Project

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community

· Multi-tasking

· Technical Writing

Familiar with:

· Integrating product from multiple program offices

· Cybersecurity capabilities and fundamentals

· Digital Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering

Work Environment:

· Work to be performed at NAVWAR OTC classified space

Additional Selection Criteria:

Must possess a Top Secret with Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).Clearance
Preference is given to candidates who reside in a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) as determined by the Small Business Administration (see SBA website), of which Wallops Island VA is one such location.
