Business Analyst

Beal Bank’s Strategic Operations team is seeking a talented Business Analyst!

This position will ensure that the business's need for changes to processes, policies and/or information systems are identified, understood, defined, documented, and acted upon by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, specifying and verifying the needs of business. With the Project Manager, exercises joint authority and responsibility for the work, projects and schedule.

This position is on-site (non-remote) 5 days per week and will report to the SVP, Strategic Operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (included but not limited too):

• Support the Project Manager and collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges
• Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows
• Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams
• Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs
• Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges
• Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities
• Assist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation
• Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions
• Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality
• Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, staff, and other relevant parties
• Support Project Manager to ensure projects are on target, identify issues resolution and update management on projects’ status

Qualifications (Education, Computer Skills, Certifications, Etc.):

• 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation
