Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) domain and Core Banking platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in business analysis, data mapping, SQL, data quality, and data transformation initiatives while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
• Perform business analysis, data mapping, and Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM).
• Conduct data profiling, validation, and data quality analysis.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on Data Warehouse, ETL, Analytics, and AI/Data Transformation initiatives.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
• Work with Core Banking platforms and related banking data.
• Support reporting and visualization requirements using Power BI or Tableau.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
• Participate in UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Lending, Deposits, Payments, Risk, AML, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage requirements using Azure DevOps.
• Create and maintain clear business, functional, and data documentation.
Required Qualifications
• 8-10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Business Analyst within the BFSI domain.
• Strong experience with Core Banking platforms such as Fiserv DNA, Premier, Signature, Finacle, Temenos, Oracle FLEXCUBE, FIS, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with requirements gathering and business analysis.
• Strong experience with data mapping and Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM).
• Experience with data profiling and data quality.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience supporting Data Warehouse, ETL, Analytics, or AI/Data Transformation initiatives.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and visualization tools.
• Good understanding of Retail/Commercial Banking, Lending, Deposits, Payments, Risk, AML, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Experience with UAT and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and user stories.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
