Job description

We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst – Banking Domain to support banking technology initiatives across digital banking, payments, account servicing, customer onboarding, lending, and core banking operations. This role focuses on gathering requirements, supporting Agile delivery, documenting business and functional needs, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver banking system enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have experience or exposure to banking operations and will help translate business needs into user stories, process flows, functional documentation, acceptance criteria, and UAT support activities.

<> Key Responsibilities

Assist with requirements gathering and documentation for banking applications and financial systems
Support creation of user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and business stakeholders
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives
Support UAT planning, test scenario review, defect tracking, and issue resolution
Maintain business process flows, requirement documents, functional specifications, and traceability matrices
Analyze current-state and future-state banking processes and identify process gaps
Support digital banking, account opening, payments, deposits, loans, and customer servicing workflows
Assist with validation of banking transactions, customer data, reports, and system outputs
Communicate business requirements clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

<> Required Qualifications

2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role
Exposure to banking, financial services, or fintech systems
Understanding of banking operations such as deposits, payments, loans, customer onboarding, or account servicing
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar documentation/project tracking tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of SQL, data validation, or reporting concepts
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
