Job description

At RES, we're looking for purpose-driven individuals who are passionate about restoration and sustainability, and who want their work to make a lasting environmental impact. Our team members go above and beyond, bringing initiative, integrity, and a strong work ethic to every project. Collaboration is key-we thrive on teamwork, open communication, and diverse perspectives. In a field that constantly changes, we value those who are resilient, adaptable, and resourceful in the face of challenges. If you're intellectually curious, eager to learn, and ready to help restore ecosystems and protect natural resources, you'll find your place here.
RES is looking for a Banking Operations Analyst to support project financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis across our mitigation banking portfolio.
The mission: You will help RES maintain accurate, timely, and actionable financial information for mitigation banking projects by pulling data from core systems, preparing reports, updating budgets and forecasts, and supporting monthly financial review meetings with project and business leaders.
What your day-to-day might look like
You will extract data from systems including NetSuite, Apollo, and Hubspot and use that data to build reports that support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting needs. These reports may be used by finance, project teams, joint venture partners, and board-level stakeholders.
You will maintain and update project budgets in Apollo, including actuals and forecast updates requested by Project Managers and HUB leadership. You will help ensure that project financial information is accurate, current, and ready for review.
You will prepare for and lead monthly meetings focused on project financials, helping teams understand budget status, forecast changes, risks, and updates. You will work closely with Project Managers, finance partners, and business leaders to support informed decision-making.
You will also support mitigation banking operations by helping track and organize financial information tied to project performance, regulatory requirements, and business planning needs.
We would like to talk to you if you have many of the following:
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of mitigation banking experience.
  • A working understanding of mitigation banking operations, regulatory processes, and project finance.
  • Experience working with financial, operational, or project reporting systems.
  • Experience supporting recurring reporting cycles, budget updates, forecasts, and project financial reviews.
You will thrive in this role if:
  • You are detail-oriented and organized, especially when managing recurring reporting deadlines and project updates.
  • You communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and are comfortable preparing for and leading monthly financial review meetings.
  • You enjoy partnering with Project Managers, finance teams, HUB leaders, JV partners, and project teams to keep financial information accurate, useful, and actionable.

Please note that the "Day in the Life" section is not intended to be an exhaustive list of job duties, but rather a representative snapshot of typical responsibilities and work experiences at RES.
