Job description

Description Summary The FX Operations Analyst supports the daily processing and settlement of foreign exchange transactions. The role confirms foreign exchange trades, manages settlements, and ensures timely payments. Candidates gain experience in financial operations, including international payments, trade confirmations, reconciliations, and compliance processes. Key Responsibilities Provides operational support for corporate and institutional clients on FX transactions. Accurately processes incoming and outgoing foreign currency payments. Verifies and confirms FX transactions and ensures settlements are executed accurately and timely. Monitors and manages FX payment flows across various currencies and platforms. Performs daily reconciliations and resolves trade or payment discrepancies. Investigates and resolves issues related to payment delays, trade mismatches, and compliance alerts. Maintains transaction records in systems such as WallStreet, MTS, and SWIFT gpi. Collaborates with front‐office traders, relationship managers, and clients to ensure seamless trade execution. Responds to client inquiries related to foreign exchange transactions. Contributes to process improvement initiatives and supports system upgrades or automation efforts. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Knowledge of funds movement controls and compliance protocols (AML/BSA, OFAC). Experience with payment processing, reconciliation, and investigations. Experience in banking operations, particularly FX or payments. Familiarity with FX products (spot, forward, swaps, options). Experience with FX platforms and financial systems such as WallStreet System and MTS. Knowledge of global payment systems and SWIFT message formats (MT103, MT202, MT300). Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Excellent communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change. High attention to detail and accuracy in high‐value, high‐volume environments. Proven problem‐solving abilities and capacity to meet tight deadlines. Other Requirements Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‐time basis.
