CNC Tools Technician for Stone Industry

DeFusco Industrial Supply is looking for another CNC technician. Our customer base is stone fabrication companies. This job involves measuring and installing diamond CNC tooling on all brands of CNC stone routers. The tool information has to be input into the user interface of the machine and the actual tools need to be installed onto the machine at each installation. We are looking for someone with a background in digital and/or CNC experience. Everything else can be trained if you are willing to learn.

Technician will need to troubleshoot individual situations that arise normally to insure the tools work properly. Technician will be providing customer service and doing some basic selling of our line to the customer. Since Technician will be dealing with owners, programmers and operators, technician needs to be able to establish business relationships with these people as relationships are the life-blood of our business. You can easily make $80,000 - $100,000 your second year if you learn our lines and get our catalog to the customers you are serving.

The tech will be using other digital tools to get their jobs done on a regular basis. A basic understanding of digital tooling is helpful. The prospect we are searching for need to be familiar with CAD. If you are familiar with Alpha-Cam or Master-Cam that is extremely helpful as you will be dealing with people using programs like that on a regular basis.

This job involves travel during the work week. We like our technicians that need to leave town to fly out early in the week and fly back the same week and spend their weekends at home. Expenses are paid for by company. There is some travel internationally (training is completed in Italy) and a passport is required.

Pay is commensurate on experience and can grow quickly. A trainee will be paid from $1,000 - $1,200 weekly until we do not have to babysit them, at which time they will be paid from $1,200 - $1,400 weekly with the ability to earn commissions. Your second year you should make $80,000 to $100,000.
