As a Stone CNC Operator, your day usually begins with reviewing job orders, setting up CNC machines, and selecting the proper tools and stone materials for scheduled projects. You’ll program or load designs, monitor cutting and shaping operations, and regularly inspect finished pieces for quality and precision. Collaborating with designers, project managers, and quality control staff is also common, especially when adjustments are needed to meet project specifications. Throughout the day, you'll be expected to follow safety protocols and maintain your equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
