Description
Busy medical office is seeking a highly motivated, independent medical receptionist to help run orthopedic practice. This position will assist with answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance and securing prior authorizations along with general office support. Applicant should be very organized, able to multitask and be a self-starter. Medical office experience with EPIC EMR software is REQUIRED and bilingual is preferred.
Duties for the position are:
Answers telephones and provides information or refers calls to appropriate personnel.
Schedules Appointments
Verifies insurance prior to appointments.
Greets and checks in patients.
Secures Prior Authorizations as needed.
General office duties

Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education: High School or equivalent Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
- Minimum Experience: 1 Year
- Minimum Field of Expertise: Medical office experience
- Preferred Education: Specialized/Technical Training

Compensation based on experience
Full Time - 32+ hrs/week
Pay Scale/Ranges:
$25-30 hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
