APS is accepting applications for Facility Maintenance Technician in Henderson, Ky.

THIS IS FULL TIME, TEMP TO HIRE POSITION

8am-4pm

Responsibilities

Performs MINOR painting, carpentry, and masonry work.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots, and other work areas Prepares apartments for move-in and completes refurbishing of apartments after move-out, including painting of apartments.
Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs making notes and recommendations using an established checklist.
Maintains grounds including outside residence repair and garbage removal or coordinates services with outside vendors where appropriate.
Performs MINOR electrical maintenance.
Performs MINOR plumbing maintenance.

Major Issues will be repaired by an outside Contractor.
All major Electrical and Plumbing will be conducted by an outside contractor.
APS will offer a Universal EPA certification course.
