Location: San Diego, CA (Del Mar & Sorrento Valley)
Pay: $20.15 - $23.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary-to-Hire

Manpower is seeking a Facilities Technician I for a growing company in San Diego. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with maintenance, handyman, or building maintenance experience who is looking to grow into a long-term facilities career.

You'll support daily building operations by performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, office equipment maintenance, and assisting with facility improvement projects.

What You'll Do

  • Perform routine building maintenance and minor facility repairs.

  • Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and light carpentry work.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain office appliances including refrigerators, microwaves, coffee machines, and dishwashers.

  • Support facility improvement and renovation projects.

  • Assemble and install ergonomic office equipment and furniture.

  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors performing onsite work.

  • Maintain recycling programs and assist with overall facility upkeep.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests submitted through phone, email, and work order systems.

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 6 months of facilities, maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.

  • Experience using common hand and power tools.

  • Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
