JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CMM Operator to perform dimensional inspections of semiconductor components using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metrology principles, proficiency in operating CMM equipment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
KEY RESPONSIBLIITIES
· Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to perform dimensional inspections of semiconductor components.
· Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols to determine inspection requirements.
· Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
· Generate inspection reports and documentation of measurement results using CMM software.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve dimensional issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
· Identify and troubleshoot measurement discrepancies or deviations from specifications.
· Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in metrology or related field is preferred.
· Proven experience as a CMM Operator, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
· Proficiency in operating CMM equipment and familiarity with CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MeasureMind).
· Strong understanding of metrology principles, GD&T, and dimensional inspection techniques.
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot measurement issues.
· Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Perform in the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing business.
