Infant/Toddler Early Head Start “Floating” Classroom Aide
Location: 4629 Aicholtz Road / Clermont County
Hours: Full Time (40 hours) Shifts range from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
Degree Required: High School Diploma
Degree Preferred: Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential
Job Responsibilities: Child Focus is seeking dedicated early childhood professionals to serve as a “Floating” aide in Infant/Toddler Classrooms. Floating aides will assist in various classrooms as needed to provide coverage, give breaks and maintain ratios throughout the day. The Floating aide will assist in classroom duties including set up and maintenance of classroom, engaging with infants and toddlers, diaper changing and fostering learning and growth.

Be passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
Work cooperatively with other team members
Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and grow.
Love children and wish to work in a team-oriented environment
Meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
Have knowledge and interest of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
Have previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred, but not required as training provided
