Logistics Coordinator Job Description:

The Logistics Coordinator position, based in our Waukesha, WI office, is a vital role in assisting our sales team and closing sales promptly. This position requires a person to be self-motivated and have great follow up skills to ensure all open requests and tasks are completed timely. This role will be responsible for quoting freight cost for sales orders, updating tasks and quotes in our ERP system, ensuring the system has the most up-to-date information for quoting, working with our freight vendors daily, utilizing multiple data sources and quoting tools, researching and following up on dispositions, and multiple tasks and projects the department is responsible for throughout the year.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide quote requests timely to sales team
• Work with freight vendors to close disposition requests
• Provide shipment updates as needed
• Audit freight costs weekly/monthly
• Research shipments and ERP system for errors
• Update product records to ensure accurate quoting
• Research billing issues as needed
• Review all requests from internal departments timely
• All other duties assigned by management

Education:

• Associate’s Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• 2 years in related field (Preferred)
