About This Role:

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient coordination, availability, and distribution of spare parts in support of after-sales service operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction, minimizing equipment downtime, and supporting internal teams by managing parts inventory, logistics, and supplier coordination in alignment with Socomec NAM service standards.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and distribution of spare parts to support service and customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels for service operations
  • Process and track parts orders, shipments, and returns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to resolve parts availability or delivery issues
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures related to inventory control, shipping, and safety
  • Prepare reports on parts usage, backorders, and inventory performance

Essential Qualifications, Experience, And Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in parts coordination, inventory control, logistics, or a related role
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical service environment preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of inventory management and basic supply chain principles
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Lists, OneDrive)
