Job Description
Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Mobile
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse operations, including overseeing one warehouse clerk employee.
- Manage cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate the processing of returns, particularly during peak return periods (6 times a year).
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring minimums and placing orders as needed.
- Process purchase orders (POs) and ensure accurate matching of paperwork for receiving and accounts payable (AP).
- Collaborate with delivery drivers on vehicle inspections, maintenance, and shipments/pickups.
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced computer skills for various warehouse management tasks.
- Utilize previous assistant manager experience to effectively lead and motivate the warehouse team.
- Set an example for staff employees in terms of dependability, punctuality, and professionalism.
Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications:
- Previous assistant manager experience preferred. 2-4 years
- Demonstrated track record of longevity in employment.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills required.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
