Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Line Manager to oversee our paper manufacturing operations. The Production Line Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production line, meeting quality standards, optimizing processes, and leading a team of production line staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment and development of the production line from inception to full operation, guiding the company from "zero to one" in the corrugated box manufacturing sector.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production line, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.

  • Collaborate with sales team to ensure alignment between production and sales forecasts, proactively adjusting production schedules to meet demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.

  • Hire, train, and supervise production workers, ensuring the team is adequately staffed and trained to meet production targets.

  • Implement and maintain production procedures and protocols to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.

  • Monitor production processes and equipment to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

  • Develop and implement strategies to recognize machine failures early, reducing downtime and waste in the production process.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Train and mentor production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to address production issues and drive continuous improvement.

  • Prepare reports on production performance, including productivity, quality metrics, and inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with specific experience in the paper industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management in a production setting, with demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results.
  • Strong technical knowledge of paper manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as preferred
