Laser screed rental company operating throughout southern California seeks highly motivated, willing to learn, hard workers to be trained on specialized concrete leveling equipment.

Overview
Operate diesel powered laser screed to move and level concrete in conjunction with laser equipment and computer to provide super flat floors prior to place and finish crew. All laser screed operators are assigned a company truck that contains all tools necessary to repair any mechanical problem that should arise during the course of a pour.
Responsibilities:
1) Mechanical
- Fix every part of the screed and/or any problems which may arise with the screed during a pour in a timely and professional fashion.
- Calibrate personal laser.
- Service and maintain both screed and assigned company truck.
2) Operating Procedures
- Operator must possess the ability to be trained to properly set up dual sloped, sloped, and level plane pours.
- After 90 days, must be able to maintain speed with a placement of 150 CYH.
- Must be able to direct a pour crew and concrete placement
3) Hours
- Oftentimes pours start in the early morning and run to mid-morning.
- Operator must be able to set-up two hours prior to pour.
- Must be able to clean machine in a timely fashion after pour is completed.
- Communicate with onsite customers regarding pour square footage and daily confirmation signature.
- Must wash screed immediately after finishing pour.
4) Washing
- Must be able to properly wash and service all models of screed after pour.
- Washing includes compete concrete removal from the vibrator, auger and auger housing, outriggers, drive wheels, complete lower house, and upper operators platform without removal of decals and/or paint.
5) Customer relations
- Throughout the course of the pour, the operator must be able to communicate with the site superintendent.
- Must be able to discuss discrepancies in elevations with customer with tact.
- Operator must be able to properly correct any problems with the placement of concrete without offending customer or pour crew.
Qualifications:
- Hours are overnight/early morning.
- Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Need to be able to lift objects weighing 40 pounds.
- Must pass drug test. Employer is a drug-free work environment.
