Quality Systems Engineer

A Quality Systems Engineer will develop, maintain and deploy quality plans and activities for quality systems that translate customer requirements into planned activities

• Responsible for coordinating the document control, corrective action, and internal audit processes; providing oversight to the calibration system; and coordinating government source inspection communication with onsite DCMA personnel.
• Responsible for coaching and mentoring cross-functional teams and other personnel in problem solving methodologies
• Coordinate and assist in the development of root cause and corrective action plans
• Maintain corrective action software, supporting work instructions, and provide system training
• Facilitate and attend Corrective Actions Board
• Coordinate and assist in the development and execution of internal audits. Train and mentor internal auditors
• Coordinate customer and registrar audits
• Administer the Quality Management Document System and provide related training
• Maintain DCMA communication database and provide daily reports to DCMA
• Coordinate the use of provided data to identify and address issues
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of industry quality experience
• Proficient with ISO Standards, 6 Sigma tools, statistics
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, writing and computer skills
• Ability to define problems and drive to root cause and effective corrective action
• Lead Audit experience on ISO 9001 standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be a US citizen to be considered. 

• DoD experience preferred 
• Experience with Omnify and Deltek (CostPoint and MES)
• ASQ CQE certification
• Black Belt certification
• Ability to obtain a security clearance - required
