Measurement Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Measurement Technician to join our team. The Measurement Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring precise measurements for the fabrication of granite and stone surfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in utilizing advanced templating systems, particularly the LT-2D3D system, to accurately capture dimensions and create templates for fabrication.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize the LT-2D3D templating system to measure and template granite and stone surfaces accurately.
2. Travel to customer locations to conduct on-site measurements for templating purposes.
3. Collaborate with project managers and fabricators to ensure accurate interpretation of measurement data.
4. Maintain detailed records of measurements and templates for each project.
5. Identify and communicate any discrepancies or issues with measurements to the appropriate stakeholders.
6. Assist in the continuous improvement of templating processes and procedures.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in both workshop and customer locations.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a Measurement Technician or similar role in the granite fabrication industry.
2. Proficiency in using the LT-2D3D templating system is highly desirable.
3. Strong mathematical skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
5. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Flexibility to travel to customer locations as required.
8. Knowledge of safety protocols and practices related to working with stone materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification or training in templating systems, such as LT-2D3D.
2. Prior experience working with granite or other stone materials.
3. Familiarity with CAD software for templating purposes.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
