Based on your work ethic, development and dedication to your role, with support from your local branch and job-site leadership, you will develop and strengthen your skill sets
We are seeking Sheetmetal Mechanics to become part of our team!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ability to comprehend instructions, drawings, and general correspondence.
- Understand the operation of fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls and routers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Must understand the US customary and metric measurement systems.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, sketches, and specifications.
Requirements for this role include:
- Candidates must have at least 5 years of construction, sheet metal or shipyard experience.
- Strong experience operating lathes, mills, press brakes, etc.
- Must be willing and able to work as a team.
- Candidates will be required to get DBIDS.
Shipyard or marine experience a big plus.
