Position Summary
As a Seasonal Operations Associate I, you will pack the finished product(s) in accordance with our well-written, documented, and standard packaging procedures to make rate by packing set quantities, with high-quality standards and efficient production levels. In this role, you'll be working "as needed" and "ready to work" as our labor needs fluctuate. We will work our best to provide you at least a 24 hours notice to work the following day.
Seasonal Operations Associates also package materials and products manually. In this role, you may perform basic quality control checks, verify package counts, and evaluate the product or package appearance for defects or concerns as an end product. In this role, you are constantly handling products, so dexterity is a must! Occasionally, this role will fold and tape outgoing boxes or packages, applies labels, and stack boxes on pallets according to direction.
Our ideal Seasonal Operations Associate is detail-oriented and able to easily complete multi-step instructions to accurately (and safely) prepare our product(s) before final shipment to our sellers. By utilizing your strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail, you'll help us prepare some amazing products that will be sure to put a smile on their faces with minimal supervision!
Seasonal Operations Associate Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow strict adherence to company packing procedures and standards
- Handle inventory with care and attention to detail to ensure items are undamaged
- Adhere to safety programs and OSHA compliance for a safe work environment
- Follow company safety policies and procedures, and encourage others to do the same
- Ensure product orders are packed and moved carefully throughout the facility timely
- Pack items into shipping containers, seal and label accordingly
- Performing additional duties as needed
Seasonal Operations Associate Requirements include
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is NOT required
- At least 1 year of experience in packing, picking, shipping, logistics, warehousing, or a related role
- Extended use of fine motor skills to handle small parts, and perform quality inspections are required
- The ability to work with your hands to assemble products and materials continuously is required
- A strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
- A positive, “solutions-oriented” attitude where you don’t just raise a red flag, you also bring potential solutions to fix it

- Ability to follow written instructions quickly & accurately
- Ability to read, comprehend, and performs tasks as trained and assigned
- Above-average verbal communication skills
- You thrive on keeping things neat and orderly.
- Complete work at various stations as instructed by management
- Monitor flow of product into processing machinery (as required)
- Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, etc
- and efficient operation of equipment (as required)
- Report potential production downtime, scrap production, and quality to management
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat, and well-organized - at all times
- Some understanding yet strict adherence to safety regulations in a warehouse environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; attention to detail required!
- Above-average customer service skills; strong desire to help others succeed
- Ability to sit, stand, as well as lift and move products and materials continuously
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift continuously up to 10 pounds; >30 pounds as a team lift
Seasonal Operations associates work regularly with the following tools
- Job Aid instructions
- Shipping materials (boxes, packaging materials, packaging tape)
- Cutting tools (box cutters, scissors)
- Scanning tools (scan guns - as necessary)
This position is seasonal with the potential of becoming Full-Time!
