Job Description:

The Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of Case Managers, ensuring incoming referrals and reassignments are processed in a timely fashion and in compliance with NYPCC and OMH regulatory policies.

This position requires weekly travel to NYPCC's Child and Family Mental Health Centers located at:

  • 579 Courtlandt Avenue, Bronx, NY
  • 102 Pilling Street, Brooklyn, NY
  • 2857 Linden Boulevard, Brooklyn, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the day-to-day clinical, task, and administrative supervision to Case Managers
  • Assist in the training of new Case Managers as part of their onboarding process
  • Supervise and educate staff members around advocacy, assessment, service planning, creating linkages/referrals and ongoing documentation and monitoring of Electronic Health Records
  • Provide guidance on handling referrals or clients
  • Assign incoming referrals to Case Management team for processing
  • Ensure team is assigning clients to therapists in a timely manner while making sure all therapists have a reasonable caseload at all times
  • Coordinate reassignment efforts
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual; fluent in English and Spanish
  • MUST be able to travel to all clinics, weekly
  • Completion of degree or diploma in social work or social services is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in patient intake or medical office administration
  • Strong affinity for customer service
  • 3 years of experience using an EHR system
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task with attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of PSYCKES and EPACES
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Maintains a positive attitude and is friendly, upbeat, and has a great “can do” personality
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about NYPCC’s mission and values

Additional Information

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
