  • Develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring interventions are tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, or groups.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities that align with best practices.
  • Monitor and document client progress continuously, adapting treatment plans as needed based on client feedback and clinical observations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to provide holistic care and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Engage with clients and their families to educate them about mental health challenges and facilitate effective coping strategies.
  • Maintain strong communication with healthcare providers regarding medication management and any needed adjustments.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health issues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • Strong familiarity with the latest research and methodologies in psychotherapy and mental health care.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting as a mental health counselor, particularly in community health environments.
  • Experience working with clients diagnosed with co-occurring disorders or complex mental health needs.
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment and its interplay with mental health.
