Job Responsibilities:

Managing accounts payable/entering all vendor bills into accounting software.
Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors as well as applying vendor payments to bills.
Set up all new vendors/establish and maintain vendor relationships.
Provide analysis of Accounts Payable Aging Report.
Analyzing workflow processes.
Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
Processing due invoices for payments.
Post journal entries as requested by team members.
Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
Comparing, reviewing, and approving purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
Confirm and reconcile intercompany balances.
Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

3-5 years experience in a similar role.
Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.
High degree of attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Must understand accounting basics - natural balances of accounts, debits, credits, account types, and presentation on financial statements.
