GPW is searching for a new Captive Insurance Account Manager to join our diverse team of hardworking, bright, and highly motivated colleagues. In this role, you will assist in the development and maintenance of domestic and offshore captive insurance companies. Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements in an accurate and timely manner
  • Reconcile cash and investment accounts
  • Prepare bank deposits and cash disbursements (if needed)
  • Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit for clients
  • Prepare and file regulatory filings
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with domicile captive insurance regulations
  • Track and reconcile claims activity
  • Maintain client files following the GPW filing system
  • Prepare meeting materials and participate in the annual board of directors' meeting and other client meetings
  • Cultivates strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Works closely with colleagues across departments to implement growth strategies
  • Makes recommendations to improve processes and procedures
  • Demonstrates ability to complete assigned tasks within strict deadlines
  • Assists with special projects and completes them within a defined timeframe nurturing a work culture that promotes open, frequent, and dynamic communication among staff, stimulating teamwork to accomplish desired goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Desire for min. 2 years of professional experience related to finance, accounting, or auditing
  • MA or BA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Additional certification (CPA and/or ACI) is a plus
  • Possess a high level of initiative, and positivity, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced and high-demand work environment
  • Highly organized, comfortable with change and ambiguity, solution-oriented, and resourceful
  • Effective communication skills, strong work ethic, and a high level of personal integrity
  • Must demonstrate ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), QuickBooks and Adobe Acrobat.
