Landscape Maintenance, or Install Technician, or Irrigation Technician – Local Landscape Companies– Colorado Springs – $16.00-$25.00+/hour depending on experience and position

Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

1. Landscape Maintenance:

   • Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, pruning, and weeding.
   • Monitor and maintain plant health, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
   • Seasonal clean-ups and debris removal to keep landscapes looking pristine.

2. Landscape Installation:

   • Assist in the installation of plants, trees, shrubs, and other landscape features according to design plans.
   • Work collaboratively with the installation team to bring landscape designs to life.
   • Ensure proper soil preparation and planting techniques.

3. Irrigation System Installation and Maintenance:

   • Install and maintain irrigation systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
   • Adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions to optimize water efficiency.
   • Collaborate with clients to educate them on irrigation system usage and water conservation.

4. Hardscape Maintenance:

   • Perform basic repairs and maintenance on hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
   • Assist in the installation of new hardscape elements as needed.

5. Client Communication:

   • Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner.
   • Provide information on landscape maintenance schedules, irrigation practices, and answer client inquiries.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance, installation, and irrigation.
• Knowledge of local plant species, horticultural practices, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
