Print Production Planning Manager

Premier printing and converting company in NV is hiring for a Production Planning Manager for day shift.
Responsibilities include:

• Oversee production planning and management activities within the company.
• Develop production plan, budget and timelines according to production specifications.
• Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.
• Plan work flow and schedules for production departments.
• Monitor production status to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Identify production issues and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Notify customers on any delayed deliveries.
• Evaluate current production processes and make suggestions on improving workflows.
• Conduct daily meetings to keep track of production schedules.
• Determine equipment, materials and manpower required to complete production.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 5 years' production planning or scheduling in the printing industry.
• Experience in material management a plus.
• Proven track record of using Lean Manufacturing Practices to improve processes and reduce down times, bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Collaborative with very good communication skills.
• Able to multi-task in a very busy manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of EFI Monarch a plus.
• College degree a plus.

Starting base salary range $80,000 - $95,000 + healthcare, benefits, 401k match and relocation assistance.
