Job Summary

We are seeking a Print Supervisor to lead print floor operations and drive efficiency, quality, and team performance. This role oversees all aspects of printing, ensuring production is executed safely, on time, and to quality standards. The Supervisor is responsible for team leadership, workflow planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in partnership with plant leadership. 

Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.

Shift: 4x10 schedule, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Friday & Saturday + two weekdays)

What You'll Do

  • Lead, schedule, and supervise print production staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee all aspects of the printing process and develop subject matter expertise in print operations.
  • Plan and prioritize daily workloads to meet production goals and customer deadlines while optimizing resources.
  • Ensure print quality and color consistency through routine checks, documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues in partnership with maintenance, operations, and IT teams.
  • Operate and oversee RIP software and printing equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage team attendance, performance, and workplace dynamics, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain inventory of substrates, inks, and consumables while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Enforce safety standards and company policies; promote a strong safety culture.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with prepress, sales, and customer service to resolve issues and improve turnaround times.
  • Track key production metrics (OEE, throughput, scrap, on-time delivery) and drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and documentation for consistent production execution.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

What You'll Need to Have

Required:

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (mandatory).
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in a production, print, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate employees.
  • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Would be a Plus:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Direct Printing experience 
  • Experience with RIP software, color management, and prepress workflows.
  • Extensive hands-on press operation experience (digital and/or analog).

Compensation

  • Base salary: $60,000 - $70,000
  • Annual bonus (role and performance-based)
  • 401(k) with employer match
